Oma Uitgewers specializes in mathematics workbooks for Foundation Phase, teaching children to think about the numbers while working with them. Even the practice tasks encourage recognition of patterns rather than routine procedures and are useful for remediation in higher grades.

We, as Oma Uitgewers, want to join hands with in the Stellenbosch community to ensure that all our children get the foundation required for a healthy and happy relationship with mathematics for the rest of their lives.

This includes training time with one of the authors to ensure all teachers know how to use the books to their full capacity. The books are also useful to support and extend class work and kids enjoy working in them in their own time.
